    Me meme continued
    Day 15 – Your dreams

    At present I dream of being able to afford to live in my own house, alone and like it, and earn money doing something I want to do.

    Day 16 – Your first kiss
    Embarrassing - I was 32. It was pretty unremarkable really. No one kisses fat girls at school. By my 30s it had become one of many firsts that jsut had to be 'done' so I wouldn't die an 'old virgin spinster'.

    Day 17 – Your favorite memory
    What just one?
    As kids we had an old garden that Dad had made (we moved from there when I was 9), lots of narrow brick paths around gardens, between bushes, lined with plants. He had a glasshouse filled with orchids and begonias and anything else he could put his hands on. In one corner he hada potting sink, the drain from which ran out undder the glasshouse and watered the lemontree.
    The lemon tree was huge, almost as high as the 2 storey house and almost as wide as the glasshouse. One memory that has endured is spending long summer afternoons under the lemon tree (having turned on the tap in the glasshouse) playing in the mini creek that flowed trhough the roots. I can remember damming it and releasing tadpoles into it, or setting up the plastic farm animals along the banks, or racing various plastic or plant made boats down to the fenceline (where the creekette flowed into next door's duck pen who loved it LOL.)


    Day 18 – Your favorite birthday
    Hmmm. My favourite birthday would have to be Jesus'. Despite the fact that I don't believe in who he was, and he wasn't born in December anyway, I LOVE Christmas. One day I want to experience a snowed in Christmas. One where a hot meal is a good thing LOL.

    Gale seems leaner than he was as Brian, and the accent is interesting. And his hair is gorgeous. And... oh... drooooool....

    Kindle?
    Anyone out there have a Kindle and read fanfic pdfs on it? I'm getting conflicting reviews on how Kindle handles pdfs and I'm hesitating over buying one.

    So annoyed
    I decided needed something new to read.
    I decided to try some more stuff written by KA Mitchell, author of Hot Ticket.
    So I ordered and went through the checkout. And just before the final screen, it all went to code and text. However paypal says I've paid. And it's been 24 hours and not a hint of a reply from My Bookstore and More!

    Speech recognition
    Ok so I'm trying to train my computer for speech recognition. I thought I'd dictate something I had scribbled on paper (I like writing on paper, I hate typing it up)
    This was the computer's first attempt at typing a BJ story for me!

    You Should Be a Romance Novelist

    You see the world as it should be, and this goes double for all matters of the heart.
    You can find the romance in any situation, and you would make a talented romance story writer...
    And while you may be a traditional romantic, you're just as likely to be drawn to quirky or dark love stories.
    As long as it deals with infatuation, heartbreak, and soulmates - you could write it.
